Movember is in full swing and it’s off to an itchy start! We are seven days in so I figured I would give a little update.
As you can see (or can’t see) from the picture, my face isn’t very good at growing hair. I think it also has something to do with the camera. Silly low resolution front-facing cameras. But I’m doing my best and not trying not to forget why I’m actually doing this.
Movember isn’t just about spreading the love of the mustache and adorning the faces of men all across the world with hormone inducing fuzzy patches. Movember is about raising awareness and money and starting the conversation about men’s health. Specifically prostate and other cancer that effect men. There are many ways that you can help out with this cause if you are interested.
- Register – It’s never to late to start growing a mustache. There are also many ways that a Mo Sista can get involved too, go check it out ladies.
- Donate – If you’re not a real man and can’t grow a real mustache, you can always donate to those who can. You can donate to specific charities or to individual Mo Bros and their teams.
- Raise Awareness – Get a competition going in your workplace or school and even win prizes!
