Just want to get it written down. Not sure why, it never really seems to help. I think the writing for me is more therapeutic and makes me feel good right now versus actually doing something. But my plan this year, just like every other year, is to actually do something.
2017 is the year I’m going to make some changes and do something different. First, the super obvious, overly cliche goal: Lose weight. But for real though. I don’t know if I’d ever consider myself fat or obese. I’ve always been on the “husky” side though. Haha, husky. I’m a little husky. Have you seen that dog? He’s adorable. But I’ve always just been a hair bigger than I should be and want to be, I want to just lose that extra 20 pounds and be a million times happier with myself.
Another goal of mine in the near future is to just start re-exploring hobbies and finding some that really add value to my family and my lives. Things that truly make us happy and healthier. I want to start working out as a hobby, not because I want to. I want to start drawing, painting, playing music again. I want to take more pictures and videos. I want to go geocaching and flying my drone more often. Maybe start something new? Maybe I should try rock climbing, or run a marathon or get into LARPing?
One thing is for sure, I want to make some changes. Does that mean I’ll be blogging more? Probably not, but hopefully. Only time will tell.
